Places to Go and People to See

As our departure to Italy draws nearer, I thought it would be a good idea to let everyone know what our plans will be during our 10 day vision trip. When Stephen and I first started talking about taking this trip, we decided that we wanted to squeeze in as much as possible during our time there, especially since neither of us has ever been to Italy. We wanted to see every area where TEAM Italy is currently working, as well as a few areas where future ministry is planned. While we know that we will be planting churches in Italy, God has not yet made it clear in which city. It is our hope that we will have a better idea after visiting all the ministry areas.

Also high on our list was visiting the city where we will be living during our time in language school, which will take place during our first year or two on the field. We also wanted to meet with as many of the TEAM missionaries currently serving there as we possibly could so that we could get to know our future co-workers and learn from their ministry experience.

Gene Coleman, the ministry area leader in Italy, worked hard to put together the following itinerary for us, which is exactly what we had hoped for. While we know that it will be a very busy trip, we also feel like we will be so much better prepared because of it. I can't wait to share what God reveals to us during our time there! Stay tuned!
