Meet Baby Abby

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting the newest addition to our family, Abby, who is my cousin Summer's new baby. Summer and her husband, Jay, have lived in the Memphis area the last couple of years, but recently moved to Austin, TX, which is not cool when there's a new baby involved! I was so excited to hear that she was coming home to GA for the holidays and when I found out that she would be at my parents' house today, we braved the flood-like weather in our van/ark and headed out to Athens. It was great to see Summer and to be able to cuddle sweet, little baby Abby while she snoozed peacefully.

My husband was getting a little concerned that I might get "baby-fever", but his fears were very soon put to rest when Abby regurgitated the entire bottle she had just had all over my shirt. Let's just say that any thoughts I may have been having about the pitterpatter of little feet were quickly laid to rest. But I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Abby and can't wait to see her again next weekend!
