About TEAM

TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) is an evangelical, non-denominational, international mission whose purpose is to help churches send missionaries to establish reproducing churches in other nations to the glory of God. TEAM has over 750 missionaries serving in more than 40 countries.

TEAM missionaries are being and building the body of Christ, the church, wherever the most people have the greatest need to meet and know the Living Word, Jesus Christ, and become members of his body. We’ve been doing this for over a century.

While TEAM is involved in many different types of ministry, the ultimate focus of all that we do is church planting. We are involved extensively in related ministries that include community development, ESL, counseling, sports, technology, healthcare, business, linguistics, music, and education.

As our name indicates, we are committed to serving in teams. Teams may include other TEAM missionaries, missionaries from partner agencies, or members of the local community. We work together with numerous international and national partner organizations around the world, resulting in multi-agency, multiethnic and multinational teams.

TEAM is a member of the ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability), a financial accreditation agency. As such, we are required to maintain the ECFA’s rigorous Standards for Responsible Stewardship in the areas of board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fund-raising, and proper use of charity resources.
