The last month or so has been super busy with work and the kids finishing up school, baseball, soccer, etc. However, I have managed to work a little on our promotional materials as we prepare to launch into support raising for our missions work. Above is a fridge magnet I created to send to our supporters. I am really pleased with how it turned out and thought I would share it and the story behind the picture.
When Stephen and I went to Italy in April for our vision trip, one of the things we hoped to accomplish was getting some pictures to use for our website and print materials. This picture was taken on the Rialto Bridge in Venice by a friendly tourist who saw us attempting to take our own picture and offered to snap one for us. The amazing thing is that we were completely surrounded by people on all sides and our volunteer photographer managed to get this incredible shot of us in front of the Grand Canal with no other people in the picture! So mystery photographer, whoever and wherever you are... thank you!
