I'm thankful for...

On this Thanksgiving Day, there is so much that I'm thankful for. First of all, I'm thankful that God looked across time to see my need for a Savior and loved me enough to sacrfice His Son so that I could be redeemed.

I'm thankful for a husband who still looks at me with love after almost 11 years of marriage and who remains my best friend to this day.

I'm thankful for healthy, beautiful, bright children who make life a chaotic, fun-filled adventure every day.

I'm thankful for work that is fulfilling and purposeful and that makes me want to get out of bed in the morning.

I'm thankful to live in the greatest country in the world, where I can worship God, raise my family, and exercise my freedoms without fear.

I'm thankful that tomorrow is another day filled with possibilities that haven't even been considered yet, that there are adventures God has planned for me that I can't even conceive.

Lastly, I'm thankful that I don't have to wait until Thanksgiving to be thankful. I pray that I would approach every day with an "attitude of gratitude". Life is too precious to take it for granted.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
